A BIG connection! As an artist, I have always seen run-of-the-mill art work and sure it sells, because most people aren't bold enough to wear or have truly unique pieces of work. Of course there are collectors who thankfully challenge this paucity of the imagination. The general public operates under "better safe than sorry". Diluting the infrastructure bill illustrates this phenomena perfectly.....but when you have idiot dems like Sinema and Mansion than you have this insane watering down of the bill.

What I learned from teaching Industrial and Interior designers is that each person has to have a "strong, clear vision" and work to manifest that vision into a final design. I have borrowed "a strong, clear vision" from the title of the documentary about Maya Lin that I showed my students. Too many paws on the design can water it down to the lowest common denominator. That's what they tried to do to Lin's design of the Vietnam Memorial. I'm not saying that with legislation there shouldn't be some compromise, but in this case, there's a difference between compromise and caving, and it looks like caving to one or two out of 50. Just a note, though, most people can't afford to own unique artwork...depending on the art, of course.
