These predators do go after the most vulnerable. A company like this used to prey on my mother, and just as mentioned, she would often try to pay for Christmas for her children. She was a widow. I was pretty young and asked them not to give her these loans or to notify me if she asked for a loan. Of course they would not do that. We had to bail her out on a few occasions. Slice sen this from personal experience. These people have no consciences.
Thanks for your comment, Leanora. Agree—not a shred of conscience. Many years go, an individual and his attorney preyed on my elderly, widowed mother, too. So glad I didn't see them in person and could resolve it by threatening them with a lawsuit over the phone!
